The new Pop Up in Firefox that asks me to choose how to open the link I want tosend to share with a relative, or a friend is driving me crazy. I'm 82 years old, I'm legally blind now and this new POP UP has to be disabled or eliminated somehow. I've searched instructions on YouTube and triedd under Privacy & Security, Permissions and disabled PopUps BUT The new Pop Up in Firefox is till functioning. Please may I give you permissiontoremove it in my account!!!! Please could you do thatforme because I'vetried every suggesion ad I can'tseemto disableit or removeit. Most of the keyboard shortcuts are not working. Copy-paste works, but others for example, Ctrl + F doesn't work. Very confusing and frustrating. Attached is the screenshot of Browser Console and it does show missing attributes. Not sure if this is a browser issue (currently using 147.0.3 (64-bit)) or I need to make certain change settings. I would appreciate any suggestions to resolve this issue.

Hi, I just installed the latest update (I think it's 136.0.2). I guess I skipped some/several versions. Suddenly my main menu isn't workin anymore (clicking it with the mouse, that is) There is some overlay which I can't find out, how to remove. Even the Minimize/Maximize/Close buttons don't have any function. Luckily I can still access the menu via keyboard shortcuts. How can I remove that overlay bar ... or did I catch some malware ?

the web page will show a currently typing cursor, the little blinking line on typing stuff, if i misclick lets say on an amazon product page it will just appear. its like the code has changed to make every screen/tab/window/page a word document and i dont know how it happened, how to fix it and what all it even is so help would be massively appreciated, thank you. sorry about the typing and commas thigny idk what is called in english as english is no my first langwige

The hotkey for showing/hiding the sidebar is currently ^Z. Since the Y and Z keys are swapped on German keyboards, could this be changed to ^Y when the interface language is set to German? Or is there already a setting for this that I might have missed?

Hello. This question concerns the Windows 11 desktop version of Firefox.

I have long used the Home and End keys on my extended keyboard to scroll to the very top of any given page in Firefox (Home) or to the very bottom of that page (End).

But, lately, I notice that, for no reason I can figure out, Firefox no longer responds to those shortcuts. Now, when I tap Home or End, the page may, at first, scroll up or down slightly but not to the top or bottom. If I press Home or End again, nothing happens at all.

Sometimes, if I press Ctrl + Home simultaneously or Ctrl + End the page will scroll to the top or bottom respectively.

Why has Firefox's behavior apparently changed? Is there an issue with my keyboard or operating system settings? (I use a Logitech G915 keyboard.)

Please let me know how to restore Firefox's shortcut functionality, where I can tap just Home to scroll to the top of a page or only End to scroll to the bottom of a page.

I'm using a docker container to access an old dell r710 with iDRAC 6 and I'm stuck configuring some parameters because I can't use the shortcut ctrl+n because firefox opens a new window.

Reading this https://support.mozilla.org/bm/questions/1381773 I assume that I can disable ctrl+n in firefox using autoconfig.js (/etc/firefox/defaults/pref/autoconfig.js) and firefox.cfg (/etc/firefox/firefox.cfg) but I don't know what should I write on these config files.

Can someone give me a hand? Thank you in advance!

Hello I can use mouse because of my condition. I use a stylus tablet wacom cintiq companion. I cant move the tabs around and some other functionality doesnt work such as pressing certain buttons, fox example download button for the snipping tool in firefox.

with mouse it works but not stylus. it started working when i turn off windows ink but I lose the scrolling feature which is something I really need. I tried turning on and off some about:config settings but no luck there. I reset firefox but that didnt work. I tried the edge browser and I get no problems with edge. Other firefox forks have the same issue. I tried windows settings but no luck there.

Sometimes, when I want to use the Take a Screenshot function (on my toolbar) to save a long section of a page, after selecting what I want and scrolling down to the Download button, the process positions the page's floating 'identification' bar across the the middle of the picture. Is there a way to set a keyboard shortcut to trigger the download command after making the selection, without the need to scroll down to see the button? This would greatly simplify the process. In some limited searching and testing, I haven't found anything that accomplishes this.

I have attached a screenshot of a page to serve as an example of how the bar is superimposed.

FWIW, this system is still running Windows 7, Firefox 115.22.0 esr.

Doing a "find" ends up showing a greenish (so I'm told) background with white text. Want to guess which "find" in the attached image is difficult for me to find?

What I would like: Find (focus): yellow text on black background Find All: white text on black background

Yes, of course it would be nice if that would auto switch to black on yellow if the website default is black background.

I can hack userContent.css and get the selection function to work:

I can hack userContent.css and get the Find All (sans the focus) to work.

But firefox always provides the focus with white on green. Even if I do something like this:

I tried several themes. No change. I tried changing Windows Preferences. No change.

Firefox is my default browser and I use Yahoo Mail. In the past, while writing an email, I would copy text from MS Word file (ctrl+C) and paste it (ctrl+V) in Yahoo Mail. These commands do not work anymore. Need a solution.

F12 opens the inspector - How to change th eshortcut of remove it completely

F12 is near the backspace key on my asus laptop and I keep accidently hitting it and would like to remove this fuctionality. I can just use ctrl shift c if I need it

My sanity is at stake here!

Every so often while using firefox, my mouse will suddenly not respond to clicking, both from my laptop and my mouse. My cursor on screen is still able to move however, and my laptop keys are also still functional. Is this due to me having a couple of profile windows open at the same time, or another reason?
