Unknown to me 301.0 was installed on Windows 10 computer this AM. When I tried to open Firefox to home page the "picture" of the window was enormous. Screen captured only a small portion of normal display. How do I get back to a normal sized window. Happens only with Firefox...no other programs.

My web pages have increased in size on their own. I tried shrinking the font size a bit but it is not the font but the pages (borders, etc)....how do I get it back to normal and why did it do this?

Started working this morning and noticed something was off about FireFox - everything was zoomed by at least 150% browser content AND the application itself (tabs/chrome etc)

I tried: - changing the default zoom settings (they were at 100% already) - no change - tried "refreshing" firefox - no change - tried updating video drivers - no change - disabling secondary (and tertiary) monitors - no change - rebooting (ha!) - no change - changed a couple options in about:config as reported in other posts - no change

To be clear CTRL+/-/0 are not fixing the problem, the browser itself is the wrong size! Strangely enough, the browser inspector does not seem to be affected. I had to stop using Chrome because the same problem randomly happened one day and Edge installed looking about 150%

The only odd thing I may be doing is running WSL GUI apps via X410 ... though the linux apps are not affeted (I launch FireFox from Linux - everything is fine....)

Re the new feature - "Windows' Make text bigger" accessibility setting now affects all the UI and content pages, rather than only applying to system font sizes."

Now text sizes on all my web pages are messed up, mostly way too large. On at least one page with graphics, when I try scrolling to get a good size, the layout of the text is wrong. I can't get a good proportion with both the graphic and the text - that is, if the graphic (a board game site) is the right size, the text is too tiny.

And resizing one page affects other pages on which I need different sizes.

So how can I Undo this unwanted AND NOT needed feature?

Tab menu is huge in vertical size since the most recent update. I've tried about:config and other stuff but nothing helps! I NEED to be able to get back to compact mode! There has to be a way to make the tab bar and the bookmarks bar smaller vertically! Please help!

I updated the windows 10 installation on my Toshiba satellite laptop yesterday, 07-31-2022 and when i opened Firefox after that, it was huge - I have to dial it down to about 70% on the zoom to have it display even somewhat normally. I don't find any current answers when I google the question, so I'm asking here as I don't know what else to try. I've attached a screenshot to show how large it is, even at 67% zoom.

Stop trying to fix, then sabotaging, whatever we finally cobbled together to get things to work. Yesterday, I could set a Firefox page alongside another application, each half a screen, side by side. Today, your idiot upgrade only allows the firefox page to shrink to 2/3 of screen measured horizontally, so it blocks the other half-screen application. You coders and your mania of fixing what ain't broke and breaking what weren't!

Since firefox updated in the last few days my browser is not working properly. Every thing is overly large and I can not adjust it. And it keeps flickering and jerking every once in awhile It does not work if there is a drop down list. I can not click on the list.

After installing version 103 on my ASUS solid-state laptop, the firefox home screen will not fit on my screen. it will not scroll right to be able to access the help button..

This update caused everything to increase in size. Tabs & toolbars are much bigger now. Toolbar and bookmarks toolbar used to fit in the window with no overflow, now both have a lot of items in overflow.

Sites that used to fit at 100% zoom now have to be reduced to 80% or 67% to fit on-screen.

Just wondering what could cause this behavior? Settings?

Note: Browser window is fully maximized and no other program on my Win10 box has this issue.

Firefox used to give me lots of room in the window, with icons the size of a pencil eraser and room to see 5 or 6 tabs across the top and all of my bookmark folders across the window. The zoom setting for content in the windows was 100%. I now have icons the size of my finger, room to see 3 tabs, the zoom set to 67%, and even with the window full screen I cannot see all of my bookmark folders. How to I get the old window settings back? I have no idea why the size definitions changed, and no idea how to reset it.

What was changed on the last update.... All the pages I visited prior were compressed to the window size.... Now things seem larger and I now have to use the horizontal scroll to see the whole page...

Help, or I will have to revert to the previous version.....

Just upgraded to version 103. The tabs and text are gigantic! The view of my email provider and other places I load are way too big. Changing the size percentage on the toolbar does not help.
