Since Mozilla released the 119.0 build of Firefox, I have noticed that scrolling Youtube Shorts doesn't work. I can watch the first short and scroll to the second but trying to scroll past that causes the video to jump back up to the first video. The same thing happens when I try to scroll through emails using my ISP web based email client. I can see the first five emails on the list but if I try to scroll further it jumps back up to the first five. I have tried refreshing Firefox and I have tried using the trouble shooting option under help and the scroll issues still happened in both. I have this issue on my laptop as well as this desktop and I even installed a different browser and in that browser scrolling works fine in both Youtube and the web based email client. I was unsure where to report this to Mozilla so I thought I would try here to see if anyone can help.

I am attending college classes on line, I frequently have 4 tabs pinned, and 3-4 further tabs open. Without any discernible pattern I can fathom, Firefox will close everything. I have no add-ons to remove, update or restart. I have no plug ins to remove, update or restart. My drivers and Windows OS are all up to date.

I ask my Firefox to delete my history and clear the cash when it is closed, so it takes me roughly 5-20 minutes to log back into everything I'm doing for class or my personal life when this happens.

Upon researching this matter today, all the fixes I can find involve removing add-ons and plug ins. Or updating them. Or turning them off. I have none to try this fix on. The advice on the main page says to check that all system are up to date. I have checked, they are.

Hoping someone has some advice. Thanks!

Here we go again.... I have been watching Amazon Prime Videos on my Mac and also my HP computers for a long time. About 3 weeks ago, when I tried to stream a video, it would not start and I got an error message that the video was not available. After trying both computers, many times over the 3 weeks, I have gotten the same results. Amazon says it is the Firefox browser that is the problem and want me to install Chrome, which I DO NOT WANT on my computer. Can you fix the problem or help in any way?

I do not wish to have to "fix" Firefox, just need to go back a few versions.

When watching a video on youtube using firefox the network speed displayed by youtube is significantly slow that when on a chromium browser in this case edge. I have tried prievous suggestions such as disabling Zero Round Trip Time Resumption (0rtt) and tried in troubleshooting mode, neither have an effect. I have attached screenshots from the same video from each browser.

Had to reinstall my pc over consistent error messages (thank you windows 10 for being the same pos system), and now all my bookmarks are gone, the bookmark backup folder is also empty, I have two years worth of personal and business related sites saved that will cripple me financially and mentally if I can't get them back.

Reaching out to Sync to try that, but looking for any kind of alternative fix here to recover the bookmarks.

Firefox just self updated to 119.0 and twice now it has frozen then locked up the system so I couldn't even move the mouse cursor, and I had no choice but do a hardware reset. Windows 10 desktop PC. I had to download Chrome to get back on the net. I'm rolling back to an earlier version and turning off the updates. Updates usually do more harm than good, and I've been using these browsers since Netscape 2.

Only with Firefox (default) and Norton 360 My Norton page, the page does not recognize that the Password Manager is already set up and active. The Password Manager button erroneously shows "Set Up", and when pressed the surrounding oval turns blue and nothing else happens - forever! That button should say "Access Vault". Also, he Feature Setup incorrectly shows Password Manager as not being setup when it already is on, active, and functioning in other areas of Norton 360, and surprisingly through the Firefox browser extension NPM button. This apparent MY Norton syncing problem only happens with Firefox, not when using Edge or Chrome.

Recently I have run into an issue where any site I am logged into will not save that I am logged into that site if I close the tab or window. For example, if I am logged into YouTube, exit the tab, and open the same site in another tab, I then have to log into my account again.

When pressing the up arrow key with text in the URL bar, the bottom suggestion is selected, rather than returning the text cursor to the beginning. It used to place the insertion point at the very beginning of whatever text was in there, and then another up arrow press would select the bottom suggestion, but now it instantly wraps to the very bottom selection. It's quite frustrating when trying to modify a search query - now you either have to hold the left arrow key, or accurately click with the mouse

For instance, say I type "cloud" in the URL box, but figure "storm cloud" would be a better search. I can't just press the up arrow to add "storm ", because pressing the up arrow once now just replaces the entire line of text with "https://soundcloud.com/", completely ruining my search. I'm pretty sure this was recently changed with an update. Is there any hope of changing it back?
