Hello all,

I've had some recent issues with my Firefox browser. All the Google services (Youtube, search, Gmail, Drive, GMeet) sometimes randomly do not load. The GET request is sent, but there is no answer. All the other websites work perfectly, and when I make the same Google related request via a private window, it (usually) works. So it does not seem to be a connection issue.

This was due to an update to Firefox I did recently. I already encountered that problem after an update end of 2022, and I reverted to an older version to remove the issue (106.0.3). Unfortunately some services don't work with it anymore, so I updated to the most current version (122.0.1 64 bits) thinking that the issue would be fixed. Unlucky for me, the problem came back.

I tried quite a lot of the basic things:

• Remove all the plugins
• Remove cache and cookies
• Uninstall Firefox
• Restart the computer (Windows 10 by the way)

I saw on a lot of forums pages that what worked for most people was to to set security.tls.enable_0rtt_data = false on the about:config, which I did, but the problem persists. I also noticed that when I reset Firefox, some visuals from Google services will have trouble to load the first few times I go on the page (as shown on the image attached). Not sure if it is relevant though.

Would you have any idea what I could try? My job is primarely focused around the Google Suite, so that is becoming a significantly painful problem to deal with...

There is an error occurring on the payment page.

I turned off my Mac Mini 2 last night, February 7, and when I turned it on this morning, all my Firefox bookmarks were gone.

Everything else is fine (Chrome bookmarks, which are different from those in Firefox, remain intact). And yes, I should have known better, but since when a Firefox update deletes all bookmarks?

I'm guessing that is the reason, because everything else is intact.

Any suggestions as to whether there is ANY way to recover them?

I have a local only test ca and test web server. How do I load the CA certificate into Firefox. Adding it via "settings" did not work, the browser says Adding a root via "settings" does nothing. When I access a web server it says "the original certificate provided by the server is untrusted", in the issuer name field. It never actually shows the certificate. Adding a file to the appdata area (this is on windows 10) also fails; changing the enterprise ca settings does not work. This used to work.

I want to use the Ome.tv web site to video chat but it keeps giving me this message:

"You have denied access to your devices. Your partners will not be able to see and hear you"

I've tried everything to get them to work but to no avail. I've also tried editing the settings for my camera and microphone in the Permissions section and that doesn't work, either. Firefox will NOT allow me to add website exceptions to the Settings window when I specify a website. WHY? This is crap. Firefox used to be such a good browser, but it has become so user-unfriendly. This issue should be easy to fix but Firefox won't allow me to make any changes.

Just today (2-13-24) I discovered that certain functions of Outlook (web based) do not work in Firefox. All functions do work in Edge browser. Windows 10, Home version. I can read my emails but cannot delete them. I also cannot delete Junk Email and probably others, but I've not attempted others. When I try to delete Junk emails, it seems that they are deleted, as they disappear temporarily from the folder, only to reappear after leaving the Junk folder and returning to it.

Looking for possible solutions.

I have been using the "Restore Previous Session Option" fairly often for years, but within the last few weeks the option is no longer there.

I had tried to use the Settings > Open Previous Windows and Tabs as a workaround, but it doesn't appear to be consistent.

Did something change in a recent update, or is my installation broken somehow? I tried refreshing Firefox but that didn't bring it back.

Anyone else have this problem? Is my installation broken? And how to fix?

For several weeks now, whenever I close Firefox and shut down my iMac and open Gmail the next day, Gmail seems to forget which emails I have already read, and it marks many old emails as unread. Deleting the Google cache and cookies helps, but only temporarily. This problem doesn't seem to occur when using a different browser, such as Safari, or when using the built-in MacOS email client. Therefore, I'm thinking it's a buggy interaction between Firefox and Gmail. I didn't used to have this problem, so perhaps it's related to a Firefox update? Anyhow, I'm hoping someone can help. I play a game at Vegas World. It's basically a free online slot machine site. I have played it for years with Chrome. Recently switched to Firefox. Playing an auto spin slot game, Firefox gets slow and hangs after about 25 spins. Chrome will go for 10,000 spins. So, Firefox is useless on game sites. I don't really expect a fix or solution. And I don't actually expect to use Firefox by the end of the day.

When I come back to my mac after a long sleep, all the apps are working fine and instantly but firefox freezes. It's not responsive at all, I cannot click on the tabs or the content of the open tabs. All I can do is kill it and restart it. It's been happening every day. This does not happen with other apps/browsers. I usually don't have more than 5 tabs open and none of them do any intensive stuff. What can I do to debug this?

bold textWhen I click onto Firefox, it opens a tab that says Invalid URL. If I click onto the + next to it, it opens up into the firefox browser. What can I do about the original tab??

Am running on linux with KDE. When I press the software shutdown button in KDE, and reboot, the tabs in firefox remain, even though I disabled that from happening in settings.

Are there changes in your security policies, content restrictions or functionalities that could be affecting the loading of a program that loads the Google Maps map and the Google Earth KML file and that previously worked in your 2015 browser?

I am trying to use an input type of month but it is not rendering or behaving properly when viewed in the latest browser version.

The example from Mozilla tech site is below and when viewed in Firefox it does not work either. <input type="month" id="start" name="start" />

Is this no longer supported by Firefox?
