Everything started when I was fed up with ads on youtube. I purchased ad blocks. Then I had troubles with ad blocks. Ad blocks keeps breaking down. It will work for a few weeks then cracking. This went on for a long time until finally they said I had an old version, that I have to download the current version and they sent me a link. I tried it and then the link said I have to choose a paying option. I knew that's not a special link. They just sent me the same link for buying a new adblocks. I subscribed a 5 year program. And their service didn't even last a year.

In the mean time google keep flashing the ad of subscribing to youtube with a prime service.

But I started to download Firefox. I had a terrible time downloading it. I failed a couple of times. I finally managed to download and install Firefox. In the mean time the suspicion about google is messing around with my account started.

I haven't been happy with google for a long time, ever since they started to monitor people's comments on youtube. So after I deleted my videos and then I went into troubles of making comments on youtube. Finally I succeeded changing the code they gave me to a name I can remember. In the mean time they discontinued my account. All kind of things happening to me. I finally shrugged them off as a matter of miscommunication. But the flashing ads became a flashing warnings, something like you must choose google or discontinue adblocks. Then I started searching if there's a battle between google and adblocks. Finally firefox came through, and I was still troubled by annoying ads. Finally I got so mad, I just deleted adblocks completely out of my computer. And somehow I found firefox has an option I can turn on to block the ads. Ever since then I was enjoying watching youtube again. And google's warning became more frequent and I just close the window without choosing any options.

All through this period, I ran into troubles with my computer on and off. I keep telling myself it's because my grandson is playing with my computer. But I cannot help thinking things are really getting out of hand. I need some help.

My grandson finally getting used to using my daughter's computer. I really shouldn't have that much trouble any longer. This morning when the stock market started trading. My Robinhood page didn't update and showing the durrent stock prices. It went on for a while. I googled if the market is on holiday. It's not a holiday. Then I tried to refresh the page, and nothing works. I finally deleted the page and started a new page. Then it worked. This went on for about an hour. It seriously disturbed me a great deal. I chatted with Robinhood, and they said they didn't have any trouble with their internet. I know it's time to ask help from Firefox. It's google messing up with my account. Can anyone tell me otherwise? Please help.

My att.net account was deleted when I created Mozilla account. Can you please tell me how to fix this issue? Thank you, Mary B Bowen

The taskbar stops popping up (it is set to hide) after I minimize then maximize Firefox. I know Fn + F11 will solve the problem, but I do not want to have to do that every time I maximize. I don't why this behaviour is desirable, but I'd like to turn it off as it wastes a lot of time. Thanks Phil

It seems that this problem is common in firefox community. So first of all I basically tried all default troubleshooting steps such as dealing with cookies (turning off, tuning on, exceptions), cleaning data, cleaning cache, security settings, etc etc, even though I am on freshly installed firefox.

So lets see now, problem is with https://vk.com/ website. It works until processing my login info. After I enter necessary credentials, it reloads and just produces infamous error. Network monitor displays loop of login.vk.com domain migrating cookies to login.vk.ru which restores them and then finally trying to open actual account php page starts the loop anew. Well until NS_ERROR_REDIRECT_LOOP stops this shamelessness. Resetting all browser data back, just enables me to enter my credentials again and the same process starts again. I can access this website from the same network from different browsers from different devices and operating systems.

Currently I encounter this problem on recently installed Arch linux, with basically dwm and firefox, and since I had very rough time with how unpredictable this system were so far, I don't know how much it is browser issue, so I think I should mention it.

If I try to use Messenger, I get an error message that I am not connected to the internet. This is just within the last 24 hours, but some are saying it's been doing that since the last update. Is there a setting that needs to be changed?

My passwords are saved on both my browsers, (firefox & safari), I've checked and double checked them. The password works on Safari just fine, no problems there.

I tried typing the email/password in on Firefox. Several times. No luck. I tried removing and retyping the email/passwords into the vault. No luck. I tried shutting the browser down and opening it up again. No luck. I tried restarting the laptop. No luck.

Does Firefox have a problem with Post.News?

Good day. I just noticed that saving a bookmark to an Amazon page shows the full address in the title of the bookmark now, instead of the description of the page. I checked and this does not happen on other sites, like YouTube, where the video title is still given correctly. This make it very hard to find the bookmarked Amazon items. Thank you for your help. Love Firefox! PS: I'm a Firefox "Power User" when it comes to Bookmarks. I have over 8000 bookmarks and regularly back them up. I have some other suggestions regarding Bookmarks in Firefox if you are interested. Regard, K

A few hours ago, I had a problem logging in to pCloud. I didn't have any problems until recently, but now I get the following message: Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to my.pcloud.com.

    The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
    Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

How do I resolve this situation and continue using pCload through Firefox?

Firefox is my main browser but it seems like something is blocking full function on a website I need to work with. I can do it using Edge. I want to keep my browser Firefox so how do I clear that up?

I've been looking for help for a week now as to what happened to my ability to print from Firefox? Everything was fine until last week with the update. It's not my printer as I am able to print from other browsers. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Trying to clear saved printer setting per Troubleshooting advice. I even deleted it from my computer to try and get an earlier version but it keeps bringing me back to the latest version that does not work. The worst part was I was trying to back up my computer (restore point) to an earlier date my Webroot was not allowing me to do that I I could not get that turned off. I called the Geek squad who remoted in and made things worse. She somehow deleted my ONLY restore date there. So for a week I have been trying to find help. You are my last resort before I switch to another browser. I work from home so this is not convenient, as I print often. Switching browsers just to print is wasting time (I don't like the other browsers). HELP!

Sometimes I get notifications from Firefox which send me to "usefulcontentsite.com" (don't click this, might be harmful!) and when I click them, uBlock Origin blocks them. So I'm pretty certain that is spam (or worse). However, I could never attribute this to any page or maybe some harmful extension I have installed. Also, I mostly block site's requests for notifications.

Here is the list of installed add-ons: - ClearURLs (recommended by Mozilla) - Firefox Multi-Account Containers (official extension) - KeePassXC-Browser - uBlock Origin (recommended by Mozilla) - User-Agent Switcher and Manager (recommended by Mozilla)

So imo nothing exotic here.

Does anyone here have a clue where those notifications might come from?

Windvine Content Description Module updated - problem fixed. I had alternately disabled both Windvine and OpenH264 Video Codex, closed and restarted FireFox with no success. This AM, I updated Windvine, closed and reopened FireFox. Amazon Prime video now works very well. Thanks for your trouble shooting tips ! OS Monterey 12.7 FireFox 118.0.2 PS: FF Tab Manager has returned speedy browsing. Horray !
