All of a sudden no videos work on multiple sites. KVS video player codec. Not sure if this is what I have had or it is new. How can I troubleshoot or use another internal video player? Thanks!

Is it possible to change the icon size on the toolbar? I've been trying all morning to find the solution, but unfortunately without much success. Help me, please Ania

get error trying to watch streams on twitch: 'This video is either unavailable or not supported in this browser. (Error #4000)'. The video on other sites doesn't work too.

I am no longer able to login to my Walgreens account with Firefox. It worked until mid June, I can still gain access using Chrome. Turning off Privacy Badger does not help and no trackers are detected by Firefox .

When trying to clear cookies and site data on first opening Firefox 103.0, on a iMac 10.15.7 I typically have 363 KB of Cashed Web Content even after browsing in Privacy mode and shutting Firefox down. When attempting to erase this data it always leaves 264 KB until I take other measures to get rid of the data. Why is this?

Second when opening Firefox I get a mozilla.cloudflare-dns.com notice which I deny access to. What is the purpose of this connection?

Third I also get mozilla.cloudflare-dns.com plugin-container attempt which I also block. What is the purpose of this connection?

When allowing for the latter two access attempts I get multiple connection attempts which I don't get when I block them, nor does the browser encounter any other problems when they are blocked.

When I query a subject, I cannot see the following choices under the search bar: "All", "Images", "Video", "News", "Maps", "Shopping" and "Settings". It only happens once if I restart my computer, but after that I only see "All Regions" and "Anytime" below the search bar.

For the past year or so i have run into certain fields that will not accept a paste, whether by right click or Ctrl-v, and the behavior is consistent every time i try on that specific website. For example, a payment section of our utilities where though i can Ctrl-v my routing number (also it can be filled by what i can describe as a saved autofill - when you click in the field and the entry appears just below), but i can not paste my account number into the account space by either method (right click or Ctrl-v - nor does anything show below the field when one clicks in it).

I have always presumed that this is an intended behavior by whomever coded the webpage for security, but i just plain old find it annoying. Any chance i am correct in that it is a coding option these days, and if so, is there any way to break it?

I turned off my laptop last night as I do each night. Opened it up today and my Mozilla browser has changed and it's enlarged! And each and every page I go on is enlarged. NO matter how many times I have shut down and turned back on it's the same. Even if I reduce the page by holding the - control to shrink the page it happens when I reopen that page again or another page. What can I do??? WTF is goin' on??? And why the *uck isn't there a toll free # to call for technical support!!!! + ALL my side extensions are gone off my task bar!!!!! ARG!!!!

How can I sync my Firefox browser? It always asks for my Primary Password. I tried resetting my password, deleting/recreating my account, and I'm always asked for the "Primary Password". I can log into Firefox Accounts with my e-mail and known password, but I can't reach the sync option because I'm always asked for the "Primary Password", which seems to be out of sync with my Firefox Account.

Firefox (FF) 103.x has been set in Settings NOT to restore automatically the previous session-- ie. the check-box in Settings for startup is empty/clear. Yet, FF autoloads the previous session, anyway, after about 45 to 60 seconds.

Put another way, FF does not follow my instructions for the item left clear in Settings.

In the typical FF startup, immediately after loading FF, the screen is empty of tabs provided by the application I normally use, named Tree Style Tabs. The screen should stay that way until I decide to load the previous session. On checking the FF top menu, I find Restore Previous Session is in BOLD, which means the previous session can be restored at my discretion. That is the way I prefer FF to operate.

Yet, 45-60 seconds later after FF startup, the FF screen flashes, and the previous session loads. When I check the top menu, the Load Previous Session item is no longer in boldface type.

As a test, I cleared the stack of tabs by closing each tab except one, and restarted FF. As usual, the single tab auto-loaded 45-60 seconds after starting FF. Under Settings, the Load Previous Session item was no longer in boldface type (since it had loaded, already).

FF upgraded itself and turned off the lighted keyboard on my tower computer. I can still use the keyboard, but it is not backlit and I want that feature back. Windows help files are non-existant. I have unpluged the keyboard and reconnected it and I did a cold reboot of the computer-no joy. Disabling the keyboard and trying to reinstall it by plugging it in again might work, but doing that is marked "advanced" by windows, so I am afraid to do it without advice. I am running windows 10 and use a Logitech keyboard. I am not a computer techi, so I need advice in baby-talk. VO1TV>

Hello! This is probably one of those intrusive facebook things I won't be able to stop, but when I open messenger in Firefox, it prompts me every! single! time! to download messenger for windows, which I very much don't want to do. It does it via a box over my messages that I have to physically click away. I already have pop-up windows disabled for every site. I went to permissions-- notifications but it wouldn't let me add messenger. Is there anything I can do?

This is a very bizarre problem. Basically I can't install any Firefox addon neither on my desktop OR may laptop. I noticed this issue just couple of days ago. When I try to install any addon normally, from a link, it tells me that the addon can't be installed because the file is corrupt. Tried several addons, all same problem. On my desktop AND on my laptop. On my desktop I'm running ver. 103, but on my laptop I still had ver. 102.1, so there is no Firefox update issue. When I try to install addon from xpi file, it tells me that I have no permission to open that file and that's it. I tried to take ownership of that file but it didn't solve the issue I tried to disable my AV program, but it didn't do anything. On my laptop, I tried to refresh FF, no help. I tried to start FF in safe mode, same problem. I created new profile, same issue. Eventually, I totally uninstalled FF, removing program itself, removing Appdata folder and even registry entry. Installed fresh copy of FF, same problem exists. Then, I noticed one thing. When I tried to sync fresh FF installation on my laptop, it synced everything, EXCEPT for addons. So, something is preventing me doing anything regarding addons. Themes install just fine. I've struggling with this problem since yesterday and at this point I totally ran out of any fresh ideas how to solve this issue, thus posting here. I'll appreciate any fresh idea as what to do next. Hi, In the past (last year), when I downloaded a vendor statement (PDF) to an encrypted folder, it would automatically encrypt. Now, the downloaded file does not encrypt. I have to encrypt it manually. I tried doing the exact same thing with internet explorer, it works. Not with the current Firefox (103). It seems to me this isn't a windows 10 (21H2) problem, but a Firefox bug, or there's a setting I don't know about. I download many PDF statements every month, so it would be great if this auto encryption feature is restored. Please help.

I have Windows 10 scaling set at 140%. This morning when I started Firefox, the scaling jumped to 175. If I change it back to 140% in Windows 10, it changes to 175% as soon as I start Firefox.

Is there a way to stop this?
