I use the same laptop at two locations. I have different printers at each (both HP, one a laser the other an inkjet).

Most of my time is at location 1. Typically I can print without a problem. Recently in Firefox ONLY I have been unable to print at location 2.

Scenario:

1. I print to the laser printer at location 1. No problem.
2. I go to location 2 and choose to print - the print dialog appears with a "spinner" and it does not go away.

I have to cancel using Esc. I am unable to print at all from Firefox. Typically if I close Firefox after that, it looks closes but is still shown as running in Task Manager.

Other programs such as Word and other browsers bring up a dialog box showing that "the printer cannot be contacted" and allows cancellation. At this point I can choose the local inkjet printer and all is well.

I have the problem that if a stream is playing (Youtube or other video sites) and iam on another tab that the stream stopps/hangs for a second...

It seems to hang also if iam scrolling on another site while the video is playin in a not active tab.

If iam on the active tab where the video is playing it is working fine and no stopps/hanging.

So there seems to be a problem with playing streams/Videos on non active tabs...

I testet Linux Bazzite and there wasnt this problem with Firefox.

So seems to be a problem with Firefox in Windows...

I am using Firefox Browser 145.0 and CCleaner Free version 7.1.1042.0. Either CCleaner wiped out the 4 rows of saved shortcuts, or, I have a unwanted Checked or unchecked Firefox setting. The home Firefox page is black, with no tiles showing, no way to add tiles as far as I can tell

When I open Firefox, since last upgrade 13-november-2025(version 145.0) it's always in full screen ! I hate this configuration and I want to come back to the previous "normal" starting configuration. Everytime I open Firefox I must do "F11" now. How can I do ?

My Win 11 (25H2) desktop occasionally sends me to renew access on my gmail account (via IEEE organization, services10.ieee.org) where I enter my walter.dinkins@ieee.org email and then it sends acknowledgement to Google or YouTube on my iPhone. Now I keep getting error message "Unable to connect". I am able to connect on my iPhone via the Firefox app but not on my PC. I added https://mail.google.com and hppts://accounts.google.com but still not luck. Any other suggestions? Regards, Walter

I'd like to change a Payment Method, but I am unable to find it in Settings.

I found instructions to look for it under Autofill in "General" or "Privacy & Security".

But the only references I find are for "Autofill" in "Import browser data" and for "Payment" in "Sync settings".

it's bizarr, but my Firefox v 115.29.0esr does not show all opened windows in the window.

Example: I have 9 windows open, and each windows with different amounts of opened tabs.

Firstly, when switching with "cmd <" from window to window, it does not show all windows in the "Window"-menu. Sometimes it show 3, sometime 1, sometime 7, sometimes no other window in the window. But the windows menu should show all opened windows in each window.

Can someone explain that? Is there a setting somewhere in preference ?

I had created a pdf with 9 window screenshots, which shows the problem with super clarity. But unfortunately this community message form does not accept pdf !

It would be best imo if the windows menue show all opened window and in plus for each window also the tabs open in each.

PS: am using MacBook Pro mid 2012 with macOS 10.14.6 Mojave

I own the domain name sabbathcalendar.com which is redirected to my website at sabbathcalendar.org. Firefox consistently gives the following message:

"Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site. We can’t connect to the server at www.sabbathcalendar.com."

It doesn't matter how I enter the URL. When I simply enter "sabbathcalendar.com" in either Brave or Microsoft Edge, both browsers will immediately connect to my website at sabbathcalendar.org with no problem.

popped up after an update, not only is it slightly distracting but also annoying as now when i try to pick up or select a tab by putting my mouse at the top of the screen it does nothing, as i select the useless black bar instead

As stated, the default DNS settings have to be turned off to proceed with the returns function on Amazon. The "Confirm" button remains greyed out under the default DNS setting. This is also true for Firefox for Android, v.145.0. Is this expected behavior? I have not had this issue previously. Thanks.

I see no x on tabs to close; I see no "close tab" option in the menu when I right-click on a tab; I see no close tab option in main menu.

1. How do I get the close tab button to show on a tab?

2. How do I close all tabs?

3. Where do I find a close tab command on menu?

4. How can I get to automatically close all tabs on closing?

5. Are there other ways of closing a tab?
