Today I was adding Firefox to my Mac, as I want to get rid of Safari. (I already was using Firefox on my Surface laptop, and have stopped using Edge). But I must have pressed the wrong button; after I installed Firefox on my Mac, I wanted to import the bookmarks I have been using from Firefox on the other laptop. Instead, I somehow imported the Safari bookmarks to Firefox--I didn't want those! Then I went to the Surface laptop, and when I pulled up Firefox (I was signed in already from yesterday) it had also changed all my bookmarks to the Safari version---oh noooooo! Is there a way I can reverse everything and go back to the earlier version of Firefox with the bookmarks I want to use--not the ones from Safari? I am not going to touch anything else--afraid to make it worse! Thank you.

I use a website called Fanduel.com I can no longer access the site on you're browser after an update awhile back....for awhile I could press and hold a button after being denied but even that doesn't work now and I haven't changed any setting prior to getting that error message so it must have been something you guys did.

It appears that Starlink has blocked my Firefox browser, Safari browser, and Mullvad VPN. Safari and Firefox work with my other ISP but when I get on Starlink they are dead. I've been working on the internet since 1975 @ UCSB (one of the four original ARPANET campuses.) About the only way this could happen is the ISP. Only other possibility is "man-in-the-middle." I can check for that and there is no sign that is not happening.

I would like you to repair this or I will abandon Firefox.

I'm having difficulty in installing a password protect to one of my Firefox folder. Do I download the add-on or what? Can I also save that password somewhere on my PC Win 11 Thanking whoever can assist me in advance. Regards Leroymaximus

When i try to search anything in the bottom search bar it shows up in the address bar. Reinstalled browser didn't fix the issue. Please help with fixing the issue as it was working fine until this morning.

Yesterday, after installing Firefox 108.0.2 in the ‘usual’ manner, things went a little haywire. The result was there was evidently two instances of Firefox ‘active’, even though the app was not open. Attempting to Force Quit them failed (“app in use”). Only after logging out of my computer account and logging back was I able to Force Quit, the, now, one instance of Firefox still in evidence. I restored v. 108.0.1 using Time Machine.

The ‘usual’ update manner consisted of Firefox notifying me the update was available and downloading the version, then restarting Firefox via the Firefox > About Firefox dialog.

The two instances appeared when displaying the ’switch app’ listing of open apps via CMD-TAB and in the Force Quit dialog

The incident was so gnarly, I’m hesitant to try installing the update again.

macOS Monterey 12.6.2 iMac (Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, 2017)

When I try to log into Twitch.tv or Netflix I get an error saying that the browser is not supported. When I hit F12 on my Windows computer to view the console for the browsing session, Twitch.tv is giving a 400 error. I have attached the text from that error. I already contacted Twitch and they said the problem was my browser, not their platform. I have attached an image of the connection error.

Here are some things I have tried to fix it:

• cleared all data from the browser including cache and cookies
• tried private session browsing and it still did not allow me to log into Twitch or Netflix
• deleted all addons and extensions
• disabled my antivirus and windows firewall
• used a different DNS server and tried an automatically set DNS, still doesn't work.
• reinstalled Firefox

Good day. Yesterday I ran TOTALAV to clean up my browsers and after the clean up NONE of my bookmarks are active! ALL of them just have the "globe" symbol next to them. When i click on them nothing happens. I have refreshed FF and even done a complete shut down on my laptop with the same results

I'm facing the problem of insecure when using caching on Firefox It's normal when tracking protection is turned off But we can't ask users to turn it off every time they go to our website const newCache = await caches.open('new-cache'); I can't open cache by this method

From my understanding all my settings would be transferred after saving my profile but after setting everything up i noticed my addons are gone/not activated. This would not be much of an issue besides that i can't seem to find some of the addons i use.

Any way to manually fix this?

Bookmarks etc worked.

I absolutely need to know who. Who hacked. Keep getting run around. Suggest dark web for someone to find out? Extremely important my pysical safety is at risk. I found a install I did not do.

Hello Mozilla, I think this is the 2nd machine I'm noticing this on but Firefox completely ignores my wish to save all downloads to my Downloads folder and insists everything has to be saved to the Desktop which is ridiculous. I've checked Settings and I've even went as far as trying to determine an issue in about:config but still a problem. I've come to the conclusion this is a serious bug in 108.0.2 Desktop folder appears to be hard-coded in a place I don't have access to. Please fix this. Steve

When answering pch emails I get the the following error code: Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://promo.pch.com/35/promo?" on this server. Reference #18.9112817.1672718634.1c121ce2 If I switch to Microsoft Edge I have no problem. I get this same error code if I use Windows 10 or Windows 11 with Firefox 108.0.2 64bit. I'm puzzled. For emails I am using Thunderbird. I had formatted my C drive and installed Thunderbird but the problem continued. Please advise how I can prevent this error. Right now the only thing that works is before I answer PCH emails is to change the default browser to Microsoft Edge and when I am done change it back to Firefox.
