(sorry for bad english) After closing girefox while on window mode, (accidentaly) I reopened it realising none of my accounts were signed in and all websites (youtube, adsense, gmail etc) needed google verification. and they were treating me like i was visiting first time after download. Why is that? Now I have to bring all my data back!!!???!! I am using Windows 8.1 and the latest version of firefox. No other browser installed...

Good day. Yesterday I ran TOTALAV to clean up my browsers and after the clean up NONE of my bookmarks are active! ALL of them just have the "globe" symbol next to them. When i click on them nothing happens. I have refreshed FF and even done a complete shut down on my laptop with the same results

I searched for this for a LONG time, and I get answers for EVERYTHING BUT simply how to make the mouse wheel scroll vertically for the number of lines, or alternately, distance, I need.

I think there used to be a direct setting for full page (fine by me), but I can no longer find it.

I use this constantly on other machines, and NEED it here on this one !!!

When answering pch emails I get the the following error code: Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://promo.pch.com/35/promo?" on this server. Reference #18.9112817.1672718634.1c121ce2 If I switch to Microsoft Edge I have no problem. I get this same error code if I use Windows 10 or Windows 11 with Firefox 108.0.2 64bit. I'm puzzled. For emails I am using Thunderbird. I had formatted my C drive and installed Thunderbird but the problem continued. Please advise how I can prevent this error. Right now the only thing that works is before I answer PCH emails is to change the default browser to Microsoft Edge and when I am done change it back to Firefox. Yesterday, after installing Firefox 108.0.2 in the ‘usual’ manner, things went a little haywire. The result was there was evidently two instances of Firefox ‘active’, even though the app was not open. Attempting to Force Quit them failed (“app in use”). Only after logging out of my computer account and logging back was I able to Force Quit, the, now, one instance of Firefox still in evidence. I restored v. 108.0.1 using Time Machine.

The ‘usual’ update manner consisted of Firefox notifying me the update was available and downloading the version, then restarting Firefox via the Firefox > About Firefox dialog.

The two instances appeared when displaying the ’switch app’ listing of open apps via CMD-TAB and in the Force Quit dialog

The incident was so gnarly, I’m hesitant to try installing the update again.

The Subject says it. I have this line "Your browser is being managed by your organization." in Config under Sync. I am a private user so there is no organization. I want to get rid of this.

I'm trying to troubleshoot why Google Chat will not sound an audible alert while Google Mail does. I can't find any settings that would affect this so naturally I suspect this organization line.

I'm using the Mozilla .deb and not the Ubuntu snap.

It appears that Starlink has blocked my Firefox browser, Safari browser, and Mullvad VPN. Safari and Firefox work with my other ISP but when I get on Starlink they are dead. I've been working on the internet since 1975 @ UCSB (one of the four original ARPANET campuses.) About the only way this could happen is the ISP. Only other possibility is "man-in-the-middle." I can check for that and there is no sign that is not happening.

I would like you to repair this or I will abandon Firefox.

I keep receiving a pop up window "ALL THE TIME" I am on the computer and it says that mozilla does not have a password for me? How do I reset my password for mozilla?

My problem is that I can't get the website------https://shiftfrequency.com/----to come up. I can get it with Mic edge, but not Firefox. I have two computers and this happens with both. Thank you

As an example: suppose you have 100 tabs open. Does Firefox use more memory if 50 are open in 1 window and 50 in another or if all are open in just 1 window? Does it make any difference?

Downloads preference for firefox on my imac won't work. Recently had a system default which corrupted my Documents and Downloads files. I created new files called "My new Documents" and "My New Downloads". New Documents file works fine. Firefox preferences won't let me enter or choose a new downloads file preference.

Every time Firefox updates (way too often) - 'ALL my settings disappear' - even my home pages! I have to spend a half hour minimum getting them all back, figuring out where I was and what I was doing before the windows closed. This has always been the case. I HATE IT - it interferes with my work and overrides my personal choices. Mozilla, aren't you tech-savvy enough to be able to update an app without changing all settings back to default? Shame on you.

    Can anyone suggest a better browser? I haven't found one yet that doesn't have serious problems.

I found that when trying to login into the TRS site , it would not allow.. Had to go to Chrome for it to allow login.. Went to site and it informed me that they only supported Edge/Chrome.

Is there anything you can do here?
