I updated Firefox in the last 15 days or so and now I'm unable to find my bookmarks there's a few hidden in the Firefox menu but majority are gone

...unable to delete history (attached 1.png) and files still showing after clearing downloads (attached 2.png); unable to manage bookmarks (save via star in address bar or drag & drop to bookmark folder), delete or move bookmarks, create folders) outside of troubleshooting mode; unable to export bookmarks json file in any mode; NO CHANGE AFTER Firefox RESET... and routinely run disk utility & reset PRAM on this Intel computer...
Please advise, other than updating to latest compatible version (macOS Monterey 12.7.2) or replacing computer.
