I had issue with notifications (showed up but when i click on them they didnt were redirecting to original tweet) so i cleaned cookies after cleaning cookies i doesnt have option to turn on push notifications.

I am trying to get to the "clear cookies and Caches" which should be under Privacy & Security.

When I go to preferences, i can move to Privacy & Security or the other headings, but I cannot scroll down any of the pages under the headings. When I am on the Privacy & Security page the scroll down arrow takes me to Sync heading etc.

How do I fix this? I am having to go to the cookies to clean up as I am having another scroll down issue with an app that is important to me. In that I cannot scroll down a list as the dark side bar flicks on and off immediately.

I am on a MacBook Air.

using Win 11, Firefox browser, Google search. subfolders are listed but will not open. Using Bing they do open but I prefer Google. If this is a Google problem or a Win 11 can you steer me in the right direction. Thanks My email is artsiii@aol.com

Well, since I changed to a new computer with Win 11, videos on Facebook don't play right. They are videos that are posted by various people and real entities. They are not smooth. They start to play and immediately pause then jump forward then pause and jump forward. If I copy the link and go to Chrome, paste the link and play the videos, they are normal Never did that on my old computer. Any ideas why the videos don't play normal?

CVE-2024-4367 has been announced several days now with MITRE and CIS. There is also an issue/advisory on the github repo for PDF.js which appears that the fix has been merged into the master commit of PDF.js (https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-wgrm-67xf-hhpq).

The vulnerability is pretty serious and yet there is no Security Advisory from Mozilla on affected versions, etc. (https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/security/advisories/)

Is this normal and I am just being impatient?

I've followed all the recommendations. Problem still happens in troubleshooting mode as well. Doesn't allow sign in either. Have reloaded all C++, uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted. No links or pages will open.

hello when i write many cell code in google colab and then run all of them when output there and i want to scroll up from last cell code to go to top of page,i have lagging for scroll up in that and this problem just in firefox and in chrome is'nt problem thanks

I've noticed that when logging into various websites, a random email address not known to me appears in autofill among my usual email addresses. This unfamiliar address is under the @shanreto.com domain and shows up across different websites. My Firefox account is synced between my PC and mobile phone. Both devices are password-protected and under my control at all times, and I have only installed uBlock Origin as an extension.

Could there be any explanation other than the possibility of someone accessing one of my devices through malicious software or similar means?

bold textExperienced Firefox browser session freezes a month or two ago. It seemed that some March/April '24 fixes/patches stabilized the app. They are occurring again with increased frequency. What should I do to avoid this problem or switching to another browser? Thx

When I watch a video not in the full screen mod, the colors are as dark as they're supposed to be (pic 1), but when I enter the full screen mod, the video gets pale/brigher (pic2, compare the dark zones). it's fully connected with hardware acceleration. When it's on videos get pale and when it's off they don't. But I can't turn it off because I also need it for an addon I use as it won't work without it. Someone on the forum here said that turning on layers.force-active might help with a bug of hardware acceleration. I turned it on and it helped - acceleration was on and videos didn't get pale, but then everything got back and now this setting doesn't work anymore. I also opened trouble shooting mode and videos didn't get pale with it even with acceleration on, but I don't know why, becaues when I closed it I deleted all the extensions, turned on acceleration and videos got pale again. And, this problem is only in this browser. This problem really keeps my up at night and I'm so tired of it

Long ago I used to never have to hit F5 to see today's version of a page instead of the cached version, and I do NOT want to clear cache or cookies or history on exit, no, that's not the setting I'm looking for, thanks.

Since my Firefox browser has many issues these days, I tried to reinstall it but forgot to leave the box next to “Remove My Firefox Personal Data and Customization” unchecked when I proceeded with the installation.

I don't have any manual backup of my Window 11 system or bookmarks / passwords stored on Firefox. And all Firefox folders now have a last-modified time later than the time when I clicked the installation file. Thus, I guess my bookmarks / passwords stored over the past two years are forever gone. But I would like to make sure that it is really the case so that I can move on and start feeling better.

I understand it was completely my careless mistake. But your kind feedback would really, really be appreciated.

Why you create Mozilla account with sync, if I can't use profile which I saved on my old PC. I change my PC and now I can't use my open tabs as needed, I need to open each tab one by one. Why ??? Why I can't use saved profile on my new PC ??????

I can't sign into my TracFone account on FireFox or FireFox Private Window. But I "can" sign on in Chrome. Is there someway to fix this as FireFox is my main default browser.

When I pull up my settings, it states that my browser is being monitored by my organization. The problem is that my laptop is my private laptop and not connected to any organization, at least, not with my knowledge. When I click on the link associated with the message, it lists two policy names. One policy value is locked with the word true after it. The other policy value is unlocked with the word false after it. What do I do?

I can't find a way to disable tabs scrolling. This is highly confusing, I have to always look for my tabs and do extra clicks and scrolling. This is very distracting. Also those two buttons - "<" & ">" - they occupy extra space. The left one is especially annoying because I expect a "+ new tab" button to be there. I don' want to test/use this new experimental feature, how can I turn this off? Thank you.
