When I used to take screenshots, they would be automatically named with the date, time, and part of the text captured regardless of language. A few days ago and with no reason I can discern, it now saves any non-English screenshots with something like this "Screenshot 2024-06-23 a[...].png" instead of "Screenshot 2024-06-22 at 08-02-28 Politics Policy Polit[...].png" (usual for English text and what I used to get with all languages).

Which means I have to manually rename screenshots. Does anyone know how I can fix this because I am working on a project with lots of screenshots for topics from different languages?

how are shortcuts created on my "new tab" home page in firefox browser. I used to be able to create the shortcuts I wanted, not random shortcuts that I might have visited once. Now shortcuts appear that I don't want. I know I can remove them by dismissing them but I should not get them in the first place. Please help.

When im starting my computer, suddenly this program with old firefox logo auto starting on windows taskbar, i cant open(maximize) it....when i hover to that old firefox logo, it just shows random text......

If i'm opening task manager, that program or something is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\AlphaPress under the name update.exe.....i alrd close that program, delete that, and running malwarebytes, but didnt find any threat.....If u can reassure me that it wasnt dangerous malware or anything....maybe some real firefox update?

When I search for a Hebrew-language video on Firefox the resulting link text overlaps with the English text “Translate this page” for all YouTube videos. I don’t want any page translated and my Firefox Translation settings include no languages. The overlap only occurs on YouTube video links. How can I get rid of the “Translate this page” text? Hello, I have a problem with the languages/dictionaries in Firefox (Linux) and would appreciate some help.

Currently the German language is not recognized in the spell checker or is apparently not available.

When I click on the context menu in a language field (right mouse button), only "Englisch (Vereinigte...." is displayed under "Sprachen" (which is "Languages" in the english menu).

However, the German language pack is apparently installed, because when I click on the link to add it in the context menu, the language extension for German already says "remove".

I would also be happy to provide pictures.

Incidentally, the interface in Firefox is already correctly in German.

Deleting cookies, restarting Firefox and restarting the system have unfortunately not helped.

Can anyone help me, I'm getting desperate?

Often, when I go to history and try to restore session..it is greyed out. it occurs randomly, but It ALWAYS occurs after an update. This is so frustrating! It never happened on Edge or Chrome, not once. I know it might seem Karen-like fuming about it, but when you have dozens of important tabs open and they don't restore you too will become a karen. For two days will tab crash for TikTok. For years, will not allow access to certain sites and no contest entries for the last few months. Worked before. No phone help and to download the browser doesn't work. I was upset as won't load TIktok and I NEED IT as use it daily. Please fix it ASAP!! Hi, Like many other people I have Firefox setup just the way I like it - a few windows open, some windows with 10 tabs open, my most common pages open as pinned tabs, other windows with stuff I want to remain at the front of memory at least temporarily. The last 3 times I have updated Firefox, it opens without restoring my pages. I look in the History menu and both the 'recently closed windows' and 'recently closed tabs' items are greyed out. I really, really don't want to move away from FF, but this behavior is beyond frustrating. I've already checked I have 2 profiles: default and default-release (default). I tried 'Launch profile in new browser' for the other profile but it's empty. Any ideas how to figure out what the problem is? I'm on Windows 11. Thanks!

I have a problem with the import of my backup in FireFox. I made an backup with MozBackup (.pcv) with my old Computer, Now with the new one and new FireFox program I can't import it, as the import will not recognive the used format.

I have tried to solve it to convert it to .zip but then the import won't run, or quit's after about 25 to 30% import.

How can I resolve this problem, which also count's for the new Thunderbird. As I am now missing all the maps at both programs.

I really appreciate everything you do, but I am a boomer (Loud and Proud), I did not get born with a device attached to my hand, I am a digital imbecile.

With all that in mind, it has become too difficult to keep up with the digitalisation, at least in my case. So when you send me suggestions and update procedures I end up just closing everything, too much to read, too stressing, but the suggestions keep coming every time I open the firefox browser. Can I not just keep the version I have and decline any new versions.

I also have a problem in regard to language, it is set to English, but I do not care for US English, I would like to have GB English, but somehow it won't accept that.

What can I do?

Corel asked me to do a screen shot of the issue: Attached When I look at the changed screen, There is an icon infront of the Web address line that looks like a robot. When I rollover it this statement comes up: Browser is under remote control reason (Dev Tools) All of the address bar is inpink. daThis is still frustrating. I do not like to use the browser when something else appears to be in control. I have MacAFee and run a scan but nothing shows up? If developers are following my browser, I should beable to turn this off.

I have a full current installation of Firefox, after a struggle to get Bing off my system (Win11) I briefly got back to a personalized start page which had a large text "Firefox" heading and allowed me to add apps in small boxes and click to start an app. That page has disappeared and all I get is the ad referred to in the title. How can I replace the ad with the page I can load with app icons?
