I'm using Firefox on Linux with i3wm. For some reason the whole autofill section is missing in Preferences/Privacy & Security section. I'm using version 84 of Firefox. I presume I'm missing some dependency, but I'm not sure what it is. Can someone suggest what this feature depends on to work.

It is impossible to contact Firefox. I use Firefox as my main browser. When I logged into my laptop this morning, it said if Firefox was loading slow to click the link for an update, which I did. However, once the update was done, ALL of my saved logins were gone; AND, I cannot create any new saved logins or save any logins and passwords. The "help" pages are useless because nothing addresses this. Why were ALL my saved passwords deleted? How can this be fixed?

when I create a new firefox bookmarks folder it has to chevron arrow to the left and can't be opened. It seems possible to add a new bookmark inside the new folder but its useless because the folder cannot be opened/contnts cannot be seen

in the screenshot below the top folder "gigs" has no chevron and cant be opened. "gear" and "music" are normal and fully functional.

Frequently when I go some websites Firefox will take me there but then when I click on an area within that website it will just go to a blank page. I can do the same withMS Edge and everything does fine. (example: I open my brokerage account at Vanguard then click on "Statements" and it goes to a blank Page) This just started within the last few months. This same problem occurs no mater what computer I use. My email is xxxxxxxx@xxxxxxx.xxx. Any help would be much appreciated.

When I try to create a New Bookmark I find that the folder has already been allocated. It is usually the last used folder number. Also, I am unable to cancel edit, or remove or perform any other changes. Going to Firefox safe mode or other recommendations makes no difference.

The problem happened for the first time last week and it was, strangely, only by doing a complete System Restore that I was able to get things back to normal. That seems like a severe remedy every time it happens. I would really appreciate help with this.

Hello, I recently switched from Chrome to Firefox, and I can't print a PDF with two-sided and flipped on the long edge. It only flips on the short edge (that's weird...). I know it is possible with my printer because I used to do it with Chrome. How can I print two-sided and flipped on the long edge ? Thanks for your help !

I seem to have a hidden Folder. I've been putting emails into a named folder but it doesn't appear on my list of folders. But when I do a search for specific emails it turns them up. Can folders be hidden, and how can I find and unhide it?

I installed Firefox on my Mac Air M1.

Synced all my settings from another Firefox.

Got it all set up nicely as I wanted it.

Closed Firefox using its own menu.

When I later opened Firefox again everything had gone and it was like a new installation!

I repeated the setup, and again when I closed and opened Firefox it was back to default settings.

I'm new to the Mac system. Is this a 'feature' or am I doing something wrong?

Can anyone tell me, or teach me how to tell, what's happening on the website 'http://www.syscodiscountfoodcenter.com' on the "Products" button? Whenever I click on it, the address bar just becomes 'http://www.syscodiscountfoodcenter.com/#' but nothing happens. I suspect that this is being blocked by some type of security or protection blocker, but I don't know how to determine what.

Ultimately, what I'd like to do is determine exactly what protection is being violated, then turn off this specific protection for just this website, so that I could order products. Can anyone show me a link or page that would describe how to determine what's happening?

I just started using sync for bookmarks. When I make changes - additions and deletions - I want them to appear on other machines and be permanent on the machine I am using, but they keep getting added back on, I think from my other machines. What to do?

Firefox prompted me to update. I did. Then I only had two choices: exit or create a new profile, and since exit did nothing but close the program, I did the second thing. Now all of my bookmarks are gone - that I rely on for work. I need specific step-by-step instructions on how to get those back. I looked through several of the FAQs on this and none where helpful. I did not have a Firefox folder put on my desktop. Losing these bookmarks will be a major issue. Please help!

Up until recently if you had the discrete Search Bar turned on and used it to do a search, the results were displayed in the currently open tab, overwriting the previous contents of it.

At least since v78 (but maybe even since earlier) this changed. Now if you do a search like that, Firefox opens a new tab and jumps to it.

For me, the original behavior is what I got used to, and that is the desired one because I want to avoid tab clutter. How can I bring it back?

Every time i try to do a screen capture video in Canvas Studio while using MFF it ask me to download the screen recorder software.

I love MFF but I can only get Google Chrome to work.

Any ideas?

When trying to access the supermarket web site https://groceries.asda.com the site keeps continually refreshing the home page ad-infinitum. When I tried this site a couple of months ago it was OK.

Is this a problem with the asda site - or an issue with Firefox? I'm using the latest version of Firefox 84.0.2 64bit.
