Problem appeared 5-6 days ago.Runing windows 8.01,Kaspersky internet security(for several years had no problem with it).
In Google Chrome and on i Phone, that issue does not exist (yet). Other web pages still have no souch problem(to be precise I'm not having that kind of problem :ONLY WITH gmail.com ! )
What might be the cause , and how to solve it. Did Google change something,so that earlier versions of firefox do not work with gmail anymore (keeping the 56.0.2 because of Ant video downloader)
THANK YOU FOR THE ANSWER AND HELP IN ADVANCE !!!
Firefox is blocking my connection to online banking,by stating this site is untrusted.

I have Windows 7 Professional and Kaspersky Internet Security. I had Mozilla Firefox 49.0.1. I also had Mozilla Firefox 42.0 in my Programs and Features List. I recently switched to Kaspersky Total Security and it told me that it was updating my MF 42.0 to MF 49.0.1. I wondered why I still had 42.0 in Programs and Features. When I try to uninstall it, under Administrative Account, I get "You do not have sufficient access to uninstall MF 42.0. Please contact your sysadmin." Every few hours Kaspersky Total Security would tell me it was updating MF 42.0. This was making me nuts, so I tried disabling/uninstalling it with CCleaner. Didn't work. I tried Revo Uninstaller. Didn't work. Finally I said, "Screw it!" and tried to uninstall MF 49.0.1 from Programs and Features, thinking that if I uninstalled 49.0.1, 42.0 would go with it and I could get a fresh copy. I got "An error occurred while trying to uninstall MF 49.0.1 (x86 en-us) It may have already been uninstalled. Would you like to remove it from the Programs and Features List?" I clicked NO, and looked up how to uninstall MF 49.0.1 online using the Helper uninstaller. So that was gone, but it's still in the Programs and Features List. So is MF 42.0. MF 42.0 is still hanging around, and Kaspersky Total Security was trying to update it every few hours. Finally, I hit "Ignore" to keep Kaspersky from nagging me about the software "Update". But this is making me crazy! I had to reinstall MF 49.0.1 just so I could post this question: How do I get rid of this MF 42.0 file? How do I properly uninstall MF 49.0.1 so that they both disappear from my Programs and Features and don't leave little pieces of code lying around? Thanks for your time, and for any advice you can give me. I appreciate it.

When I hit paywalls, I "trust" site with ghostery. Still hit paywall. Can't find anything in Kaspersky that will let me turn off anything. Meanwhile there is no red stop sign ad block in the upper right corner of FF. This is 2 hours of my life i will never get back and I still cannot get past paywall. Is the little red stop sign (which I cannot find in firefox - using most recent version) hidden somewhere other than in the drop down menu on the upper left hand side?? It's not in the drop down menu.
I am ready to kill everything and start fresh with Tor. That's drastic but I have been directed in circles for too much time. Life is short and I am no longer entertained with this mess.

After a last update of Firefox, Kasperksy told me, that firefox websites are not protected by this security software and they force me to use google chrome for to be protected. But I want to use firefox because of its tracking protection and privacy sites. Is there any reason to bar Mozilla from protecting. In former times there was an add-on, which doesn't exist any longer.

Kaspersky Internet Security 2108 using Safe Money. Mozilla Firefox Browser version 64.0 (64-bit) in Private Window. Windows 7, Password Manager is not used.
I inadvertently saved a password in Safe Money, I don't know how this happened.
When I opened a URL in Safe Money, a small Firefox window popped up. It would say "Would you like Firefox to save this password for URL?" Save? or Don't Save? are to be selected. If I did not select either, the small Firefox window kept popping up every time I opened the URL. Because of my error, I do not have the pop-up anymore but I have a saved password appearing as masked characters. If I delete the saved password from the box and refresh, I can force the small Firefox window to pop up. The small Firefox window will show a blank user-ID and a password in masked characters.
I tried to remove the URL from Safe Money, then disable Safe Money, then enable Safe Money and add the URL back. Saved password is still there. I think I know how to change the settings in Firefox and delete passwords, cookies, etc. but none are being saved. I don't see any other options I can play with.
I uninstalled Firefox and deleted the folder for it in the C: drive to remove any trace of old browser settings. I installed Firefox version 64.0 but was not able to launch a protected browser. Safe Money has options to play with but none of them worked. I undid version 64.0 and installed version 49.0 that I had the EXE file for. I was now able to launch a protected browser in Safe Money. I upgraded Firefox though the Help menu and so it upgraded to version 56.0. I then upgraded to version 64.0 and I was again able to launch a protected browser in Safe Money. I added the URL to Safe Money, opened the website and the saved password is STILL there.

I have Kaspersky Total Security which is great for on line banking because it uses Safe Money, but since the latest updates from Firefox I am unable to use it. I keep getting an error message in some sites and others won't even open at all it goes straight to the normal window without protection. As kaspersky is a add on, do I have to grant permission in private browsing to allow this site to be accessed. kaspersky do not know what is causing the problem and believe it is Firefox that is causing the issue. To be honest Kaspersky has talked me through several procedures and still it will not work.
So, do I need to grant permission in private browsing and if so how do I do this please as I have looked at several forums and I would be grateful for some clarification?
Many thanks

If I go onto the Aljazerra site, to a page where there is a video, all I see is a white space. For example https://www.aljazeera.com/programmes/witness/ has a Survivivors Ebola epidemic video at the top of the page but in Firefox it shows nothing but a blank space. I have supplied a screenshot. Although the screenshots show videos further in the page they are in fact links ,which when clicked also result in only white space. However if I use the Flashpeak Slimjet browser it displays all the videos with no problem. Can anyone help, as I'd rather stick with Firefox
