How do I download 68.10 ESR? Later versions break my files. Don't know why and can not get newer files. All I get is newest version, not the one I need. I can get to the older version directory. But which file do I get?????????

Hi all, the shortcut to close a single tab (ctrl+W (Windows) or cmd+W (Mac)) is not working anymore.

here is what I tried so far: - disabling all extensions (via restart in safe mode) but to no avail - reinstalled Firefox but the problem persists - verified, that the command is indeed cmd+W and was not changed by accident - all other shortcuts are working well

NOTE: I can see that when I press cmd+W, the "file" tab up above on the Mac menu bar flashes for a brief moment, as if the system detects the shortcut. But the tab stays open.

Any other ideas I could try out?

Before this Firefox update I had an add-on or extension or something where you could click on it and it would close all tabs, but save the links in another tab, by date. Unfortunately I don't remember what it was called.

Thought maybe 'pin' something, but that's basically unsearchable as there is something else called pins.

It was great, cause you could simply go to the tab and see all of the saved links, by date. It opened up every time Firefox started and I never had an issue. Saved HUNDREDS of links and now it's just gone! No history of it existing. How do I get it back??? This is terrible. Tons of work stuff saved there.

-Yes, I understand bookmarks and have plenty of those and they are still there. -Not related to Pinterest, just think it was called Pinned or Pin Something.

Hi, I just discovered something odd. Trying to troubleshoot something with an android app communicating via web and laptop to free up the phone, and the relevant website has a chat popup and Firefox won't open the popup. I added the website to the whitelist and saved, but still wouldn't. Tried troubleshooting mode, but nothing. Switched to Chrome and it works fine. Cleared cookies and cache and restarted Firefox, but still no luck. The website is ExpressVPN.com. Macbook Pro OS10.14, Firefox up to date, version 115.1.0esr (64-bit).

My keeper add-on needs me to enable permissions for a new feature (Access Browser Activity while Navigating), but I can't find anywhere to enable that permission. In my add-on manager page in firefox it lists the Keeper extension, but gives no option to enable the needed permission. Can anyone help me out?

The Firefox file "chs_intelligence.json" appears in the main hard drive of my Macbook Pro laptop, along with more of these files with names such as "chs_intelligence.json.15q0fp" etc. What is the function of these files, and can I delete them without disrupting the functioning of the browser? I am using Firefox version 115.1.0esr (64-bit), Mac OS x 10.14. Thank you.

I can't figure out how to delete this extension: Adobe Acrobat. It's disabled, but I want to delete it.

After updating FF to 115.1.0esr (MAC) I cannot get the Walmart website to work. The home page comes up but it immediately goes to the account log in page [ sign in or create your account ] ( https://www.walmart.com/account/login?vid=oaoh&tid=0&returnUrl=%2F ). I have deleted all FF cookies etc.

It has been doing this for several days, since the update.

I have Mac OS 10.14.6, so Firefox stopped working with its latest update. So I downloaded Firefox ESR. I want my passwords, history, and browser data from my original firefox, but when I go to the Import Browser Data function, my original firefox is not listed as an option to import from. And I can't launch my old firefox in order to export the data to an html file. So what can I do? Thanks!

Hi. When I am on Outlook email account, it stopped doing spell and grammer check, which usually indicates with red wave underline idit's incorrect. It was working before. I conatcted Outlook already. After testing, it works with Safari browser on computer, and Android on my mob. Only when I use Firefox, which I have been using for years. I checked Firefox settings, and it's ticked on automatic correction. I did a few times untick and tick again, turned off and on computer. But still no luck. Why??? Please help.

I downloaded and installed the new version of Firefox a few days ago, and since then it has been running increasingly slowly; sometimes it takes several moments longer than usual to connect to a website, sometimes my cursor hangs when I'm typing. If I quit Firefox and relaunch, it functions normally, but then slows down again. I'm on a Mac running System 10.14.6, and I have a Dashlane extension mounted in the browser. Once I've engaged Dashlane, Firefox seems to slow down quickly, so I am wondering if the problem is partly the way the two are interfacing, or if there are other factors.

Chrome runs normally, as does Thunderbird--only Firefox seems to be struggling right now. Can you help?

I would like to be able to control which OS and version is reported by my browser to sites like https://www.whatsmybrowser.org/ . I can do about:config but I don't see which setting has that info, to change it. I also see a User Agent Switcher extension, but it doesn't let you set the version of the OS. https://www.whatsmybrowser.org/ clearly shows my OS and version, so I know it's there somewhere. How do I change it?

Asked earlier about deleting and doing a reinstall. Would that mean losing bookmarks, profile etc.? I have backed those up and would like to know if anything else might be required.

YoutubeTV is suddenly not working on Firefox, fine elsewhere ... they suggest doing complete reinstall.

OS: Mac OS 10.14.5 Firefox Version: 113.0.2

Settings gives me multiple options for handling a .pdf file. The first three are (1) Open in Firefox; (2) Always ask; and (3) Save File.

If I select "Open in Firefox," the file will open in my existing window. If I select "Save File," the file downloads to my desktop.

The problem arises when I select "Always ask." If I then select "Open in Firefox," the file opens (in a new tab!) and simultaneously downloads to my desktop!

Is this a system glitch, or am I somehow doing something wrong?

All my bookmarks disappeared. I followed the instructions on the "help" pages. I went to the list of my profiles and went through each one, trying to restore bookmarks from each profile. But all of my profiles are from 2019; no more recent profiles are listed. Thanks in advance for any advice

Have not been able to log on to a few sites (all financial base: bank etc) since approx April 2023 Have done all the dirty dozen: cache/update FF/reset/ disabled ad blocks etc.) and still no luck: had to revert back (after about 10 years) to safari (ugh) scoured back in archives for similar problems but found no answer. Does anyone have any idea? (i have not upgraded my mac os 10.14.06 and require itunes to remain) Thanks

Using Mac OS 10.14.6. Firefox updated 4/11 with #112. Cannot log into a site which I previous had no problems with. Message from the site states password not recognized. Cleared cookies, history, and cache. This occurs on both Mac computers. Safari works fine. I don't know if it's the site or latest update.
