Dear community,

I use Firefox on a Linux laptop and an Android phone.

For the past several months, I have been successfully using the Lockwise app on the Android phone to access passwords synced from my computer. I was not logged in to Firefox proper (the browser) until much more recently. Apparently, I have failed to notice that my passwords never synced to Firefox browser.

I have now reinstalled the OS on my laptop and all my passwords are gone there. They still appear in the Lockwise app, but none of my Firefox browser installs (which I all added to Firefox Sync much more recently than Lockwise) can access them. Essentially, it is as if they are only stored on my phone, anymore.

How can I get them back to the browser?

Kind regards, fNek

I have alot of open tabs on mobile phone and want to view - and then delete - each of the tabs on my desktop because it's massively slowing down my mobile. I am able to open on my desktop the synced tabs - although I can only open them either one-by-one, or the entire lot of 1,000 of them - but cannot seem to delete singular ones or a few tabs at a time when are no longer needed. Is there a way to delete a synced tab individually from a connected device that's NOT the device where the tab is currently open/ originally saved? Thanks!

Hi,

I wanted to add one of my email address, let's call it A, as a secondary address for my firefox account, B. However, it tells me that the address has already been verified by another user.

I checked, I did have another firefox account (since gmail, accepts "." in the name, I created by accident two accounts...B&C), but address A is not visible in either B or C.

If I try to connect with A, I don't have password which match. If I ask to reset the password, it asks for the primary address...which is not B or C! At that point I'm running out of email address that could have been used ^^ There is no address D.

I have deleted the account C just to be sure.

How can I identify where address A has been used? How to use address A as a primary/secundary address ?

For about the last 5 hours, when I download Firefox, nothing syncs after I log in -- no add-ons, no bookmarks, no history. I've seen no mention of this on the support page.

I first noticed this about 3 pm Sunday, EDT.

Is no one else experiencing this?

How do I safely delete synced Add-Ons without syncing to new profile?

I recently newly configured a laptop and while doing so, installed an updated version of FF (v 79).

I realized that some of my old Add-ons from my backed up FF profile (last used with FF v. 68) were interfering with the new FF installation, so by toggling off sync of Add-ons using about:config (see https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/about-config-editor-firefox ), I was able to open the newly installed FF and successfully use it with my backed up profile without introducing the older synced Add-ons.

The problem: So currently, in my newly restored, working FF profile, I have Add-Ons unchecked in syncing, to ensure that the Add-Ons from my previous FF incarnation would not conflict with this new install.

However, I am concerned that at some future point I might forget why I had disabled Add-ons in sync, and that if I check it and do a sync, it might re-introduce the old Add-ons.

So what I want to do now is to delete all the old Add-ons (essentially from the Sync server) . . . if they are still there -- so that if I want to check Add-ons to be synced with my new FF installation, it won't re-introduce those incompatible older add-ons.

What is the safest way to do this?

Would it work if I did the following?

- Open FF (my current working restored profile) -- but open it in Safe Mode. - check Add-ons in sync - allow sync - if the Add-ons show up, delete them
