HP PC running Windows XP Home XP service pack 3 appeared to be interfering with a scanner; I tried to remove it; it re-installed itself and after that it has not been possible to print any web pages correctly containing gif picture files. They show correctly on screen, but no printer works: the gif files print as vertical streaks. The same web page prints OK when via Internet Explorer.
