I recently loaded thunderbird on a win 8 and it gives me a message that my user name or password is not recognized by my email server. I know they are right.ar

When I go through the set up and enter the email address and password for the email server it keeps giving me the error " email or password not recognized on the server" . I can log into it with a web browser on the same computer.
