I had to establish a new account thru comcast so I could receive email; Lost all of my local folders; can you help

I could not receive my emails from my provider Comcast.net so they had me delete the original account and establish a new account. I now have the emails that I could not download the past 30 hours. However, I lost all my local folders where I had much saved emails in many accounts. Enough to go from local folder tab to the bottom of the page. How can I retrieve those folders and included emails. I have a iMac with OS 10.11.1

What does this mean? Please provide more details. Where did you delete the original account?
