I think Adobe Flash Player add-on is preventing my Firefox session on my laptop, what can I do?
I am sending this from my new HP Desktop ... I also have a three year old HP laptop which shortly after I added the most recent version of Adobe Flash Player -and- after I set up my new HP desktop ... would not not bring up a Firefox web session. Firefox just keeps clocking when it is trying to bring up my home page. I can bring up an Internet Explorer session and I have been told that I can delete the Adobe Flash Player "Add on" from there as well. Do you have any suggestions? Both PC's use are wirelessly connected to the same router / modem but the problem with the laptop exists even when the desktop is shut down. So I do have an internet connection on my laptop it's just that I can only exercise it with IE instead of Firefox.

I'm not familiar with the word "clocking" -- does Firefox crash, or not start up, or ??
Does your HP laptop have Windows Vista or Windows 7? In that case, please try disabling the Flash Player plugin's protected mode as described in this support article from Adobe under the heading "Last Resort": Adobe Forums: How do I troubleshoot Flash Player's protected mode for Firefox?
Does that help?
