Sometimes click on any link redirects to newbusters.org, ihevanet.com and the like, where could I eliminate this?
1. Sometimes my click on a link redirects incidentally to same group newsbusters.org, ihavenet.com, click.sureonlinefind.com, etc., empty sites and happens nothing... I guess, this is since I unwillingly downloaded damned "babylon toolbar" - although immediately radically deleted (in registry too), however it shows up yet in Firefox's about:config, where deleting is not offered , unfortunately. 2. The same for other "foreign" items there like "chrome" I did never installed. How to work around this problem? Please possibly send any suggestion to privateer@freemail.hu, many thanks in advance.

You can Remove Babylon toolbar easily
The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.
To Reset Firefox do the following:
- Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
- Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
- Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
- Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.
Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.

Thank you.
If some random links are redirected through several websites, then the problem is not related to babylon toolbar, but to some sort of nastier hijacker. Check out if resseting FF helps, if not - scan with Malwarebytes anti-malware or hitman pro.
Your system details list shows that you have a user.js file in the Firefox profile folder.
You can check for problems with preferences and rename or delete the prefs.js file and possible numbered prefs-##.js files and a possible user.js file to reset all prefs to the default value.
Hi Everybody, many thanks for numerous advices. I used 'troubleshooting" to reset and eliminate malfunctions mentioned and obtained a list of about 52 Mb data but not containing any with 'babylon' or '##.js'. Thus, I have to observe the behavior further if the action was useful.
Last days carried out some measures to redirect problem mentioned above, e.g. "Firefox reset" due to it "babylon toolbar" disappeared from extension list indeed, but unfortunately, on click of any link redirect to "click.sureonlinefind.com", "secure.tlbsearch.com", "newsbusters.org", or "ihavenet.com" occurs further, while I cannot recognize on what depending. These are not to find in Registry and I also checked some 'user.js' content to edit, but they aren't there too. Have no further idea where they may reside within my XP PC, do have somebody? Thanks in advance.
I have the same question, either. When I start to search for information on google, I type and push the button; although there are many results come out, I randomly push one of them, which leads me to my homepage or a blank with nothing website showed "www.ihavenet.com....." Hopefully, anyone can help by any solution. Thank you!
