I start my Thunderbird version 45.2.0 and I get a contstant hourglass

I just started my Thunderbird and I get the constant hourglass in the top tab. On the bottom where it shows the status the green bar is always moving. I tried to send an email and I get a message Send message Error. Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail: Could not get password for xxx.xxxx.xxxx. The message was not sent.

Nothing changed.

Please start *Windows'* safe mode with networking enabled - win10 http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/change-startup-settings-in-windows-10 - win8 http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/windows-startup-settings-safe-mode - win7 http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/start-computer-safe-mode#start-computer-safe-mode=windows-7 - XP http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/boot_failsafe.mspx

Still In Windows safe mode, start thunderbird in safe mode - https://support.mozilla.org/kb/safe-mode-thunderbird

Does problem go away?
