I have just upgraded to Thunderbird 60.0 due to daily crashes with v 52.9, and appear to have lost all control over how much screen real estate the app takes up relative to my desktop size, and the size of non-zoomable font elements.
Stuff that used to work:
- the Theme and Font Size Changer (even the "unofficial non-expire" version) add-on
- editing "layout.css.devPixelsPerPx" in the config editor
- setting "font-size:" in the "chrome/userChrome.css"
None of these seem to have any effect any more. I see lots of people posting similar questions this year, but can't find reliable answers for 60.0 onwards.
This is a major issue for me, it basically makes a 4K screen unusable for my eyesight and workflow.
Any suggestions for what *will* work, or pointers on how to fix/re-enable any of the above ?
