Ich rufe meine E-Mails mit POP3 über Mozilla(Firefox) ab. Im Posteingang werden diese E-Mails ohne mein Eingreifen automatisch gelöscht. Um dies zu verhindern, sollte ich den Punkt "Kopie aller Nachrichten auf dem Server belassen" unter Einstellungen aktivieren.

outrageous, i moved from windows to debian for the purpose of exceling my ram capacity on this low spec netbook with 4GB 3.7GB usable with emmc chip and a celeron n4000 cpu turns out ff eats just like in windows.

I am not an expert just savy, remember the time when upgrading from 32MB to 64MB was a big leap? well where the hell did 4GB of ram became obsolete? so there's no windows conspiracy just exponential ram usage?

Is there a different version of FF i could use for this 4GB machine? non-upgradable I could always try vivaldi or look else where but i trust FF for base security. I am using ublock origin on the machine too and 1 custom theme but i doubt that fixes the root cause. Is all the internet in the 2020s this ram voracious beast?

upon loading a empty tab FF uses 500MB for itself forget about the 64MB system ram from the 90s is FF 2025 really so complex or is this a conspiracy? then i load startpage.com and it uses 200MB!! of ram just on that search form man.

Hi all, I've looked high and low for this, but can't find it... I have a couple of laptops and a desktop - one of the laptops has started showing a sidebar with buttons. I really like the utility of it and want to do same on second laptop and desktop, but all the settings I've tried just give me the old style of bookmarks. The version I want has a side pane with curved corners, and several buttons remain along left, almost like a left hand side menu bar. But where's the on/off button to add it to my other machines? All using latest version, and all logged in as me - I don't understand why, if its an update, it hasn't done so to all computers?

Since two days, my firefow desktop browser (windows 11 - surface pro) switches to tablet mode (larger address bar suggestions etc) when the computer should be in desktop mode.

Situation: - Surface tablet without type cover connected - docking sation usb -c - 2 external displays connected - bluetooth keyboard and mouse connected

Windows recognizes 'desktop mode' since all menus (taskbar e.g.) are behaving in desktop mode (not larger). However, Firefox for some reason switches to tablet mode (see image attached). When I connect the typecover keyboard, firefox switches to desktop mode.

So it seems as if FF thinks the PC should be in tablet mode because the typecover is not connected. But it shouldn't because a dock is connected.

It worked perfectly for years, but since two days not anymore. It is not a major issue, but rather inconvenient. I already restarted PC and reinstalled FF.

I have downloaded the mozilla extension " screen recorder". After giving all permissions , the logo of this extension is not showing on my screen .SO, I am not able to use this extension facility. Please solve it. And also I have been blocked for accessing this extension owner' s website. THANK YOU. OM PRAKASH GUPTA

I have a Firefox account, I have a Bugzilla account (not used for a long time but was able to log-in back!). I try to understand the detail of some security bugs listed in the Firefox release notes by following the link (to bugzilla.mozilla.org) at the bug ID#... but I always get the reply from that site that I am not logged in with the "appropriate permissions". Actually, when I look at my Bugzilla profile (I am indeed logged in), I can't see any permission for that account. Who defines the permissions? When? What/who could change them? On what basis? Where/whom is the request to be sent to if any? Thanks in advance for the help.

안녕하세요. 한글사이트(네이버 등등)에 글을 쓰다보면 글의 띄워쓰기 간격이 갑자기 이상해집니다. 정상일때보다 훨씬 간격이 넓어지는데, 이때 메뉴에 있는 "깨진 사이트 신고"를 한번 들어갔다가 나오면 정상적으로 동작합니다. 이게 영어와 달리 한글 사이트만 이상한건지는 모르겠습니다. 한글 사이트 최적화에 좀더 검토를 부탁드립니다.
