When I scan the QR code to connect the phone to the computer to sync the bookmarks etc, the next screen asks for an authenticator code- I don't know which authenticator app I need to use for this step in the process

1. After a recent update, the site pages I reduce with the negative sign, go to the side; they disappear. I want them stored at the bottom in the task bar as in the earlier version 2. I want the stored sites to appear on the screen all the time; now they disappear off the screen. 3. can i go back to the earlier version of FF? Which version, how? Thank you.

After recent updates there is a line in my open tabs list, currently below the first five open tabs. Why is it there? How can I make it go away? I'm using MacOS 11.7.11, Firefox 158.0.

I have a lot of bookmarks and am always adding new ones. Suddenly, a couple of weeks ago (Oct 2026), when I go to bookmark a new page, the star goes from clear to filled-in dull grey, not bright blue as it always used to. In the same way, when I go to a previously bookmarked page (and I've checked this on about 30-40 sites, so it's not a specific site), the little star is dull grey, not blue. I can't make any new blue stars and I can't turn any old ones blue again. They are all dull grey and I find them hard to distinguish. Was this part of the recent Firefox 'new look', and if so, can anyone help me get my blue stars back? I'm using desktop (not phone).

I am having issues deleting old, obsolete auxiliary email address. It prompts me to confirm this with the verification code sent to my email address. However, the prompt does not accept the verification code and times out due to too many attempt after i tried inputting and confirming the code 5-6 times. Before the time out the prompt window does not show any sign of reaction to me inputting and confirming the code.

Does any one faced issue like this before? Do you know workarounds? Would there be a way to add second auxiliary email address or change this one instead of deleting?

After an update (seemingly, I did not run 'sudo pacman -Syu'), the tabs have changed in look and to be frank i find the new layout ugly. How do I turn it back? Attached is a photo of the new tab groups, i couldn't get one of the circular tabs.

Hello, I wanted to add a passkey to my Firefox account, and to do so, I need to receive a confirmation code sent to my email address. However, this code is not arriving. My email is an alias (email forwarding is enabled). I have tried requesting the code multiple times, but unfortunately, I still cannot receive it. Furthermore, when I try to add an alternative email address - so that the verification code could be sent to a different mail - I am also required to authenticate using my primary email. How can I resolve this issue? Thank you in advance!

When clicking on a link to a story in Ten Tabs, many times the link leads to a site with a paywall. It is not because I have reached the maximum amount of stories read on the site.
