I updated my desktop Firefox to version 23.0 yesterday and my two-finger swipe gestures stopped working. For a long time I have set in About:Config to browser.gesture.swipe.left -> Browser:PrevTab and browser.gesture.swipe.right -> Browser:NextTab. Until version 22 there was no problem. I checked some different settings and found out that with default values to go back and forward in history it works correctly. I have FireGestures installed (which may affect the gestures) but I tried to uninstall/disable and the problem was still happening. Thank you for any help

The problem I'm having with gestures is slightly different. A double-tap on the trackpad on my Mac (OS X 10.8.4, FF 23.0.1) makes the entire page get VERY small. I have to use Command-+ (Command-plus) to increase it again.

In Safari, the same gesture enlarges the page, and another double tap decreases the size again.

Been happening about two or three weeks, not before that.

Please help firefox is messing with me. The program is choosing when I should be using my 2 finger gestures. When I open the browser it recognizes the gestures and reacts accordingly. I'm unable to put a timeframe on how long it takes for the the gestures to stop working but they DO STOP. I close the browser and quit the software altogether. Upon restart it works but typically the duration of time for the gestures to stop working is shorter. Please keep in mind neither Chrome or Safari react in this manner. I can't stop using Firefox it works faster than the other browsers. Please help.
