i recently installed ubuntu 10.10 as my OS ... im pretty new to it and still havent figured out how to do installations like yours ... when i download the file it prompts me to use the archive manager to open your file, but that doesnt allow me to use the executable to install the program ... i would really prefer to use the beta instead of 3.6 ... its a much nicer program in my opinion ... i hope you can help :)

You need to move (copy) the files outside that archive and copy them to a new directory on your hard drive in your Home directory (~/firefox4) or as root to /usr/local/ (/usr/local/firefox4b)
