cant use thunderbird anymore
I had to upgrade my phone and in the process the passwords were lost. Starting over. Now I cannot adjust thunderbird to get anything. It is supposed to go to an area allowing password update but all I get is a blank screen. Any help is appreciated.

This is the Thunderbird for Desktop operating systems forum. You would be best off asking your question in the Thunderbird for Android forum where its experts can be found:

The error is mine in a poorly worded opening. . I got all the phone stuff to work, but Thunderbird on my desk win 10 wont work anymore. I dont seem to be able to get it to work with any password. But all passwords work with aol online service. Phone email works as well. Just the desk top.
- Who is your email provider?
- Please list your email server settings, both incoming (POP3 or IMAP) and outgoing (SMTP). A screen shot would do. Incoming settings are found at <Account Settings | (account) | Sever Settings>. SMTP settings are found at <Account Settings | (scroll all the way to the bottom to "Outgoing Server">, then select the server used for this account and see the Details below.
I'm most interested to see what the Authentication Method is.
Passwords are stored at <Settings | Privacy & Security | Passwords | Saved Passwords> , but the way to change or update your password can be different depending on how your account is set up.
