Hi,
Do you have "Browsing history" selected in "Delete browsing data on quit"?
How is that option related?
"open tabs" is the relevant option and it was turned off. It works now, Worked before the update, but something about the update destroyed all my tabs.
Why should tabs be gone when "open tabs" option is deselected in "delete browsing data on quit"?
I knew QC at Firefox was sometimes bad, but never *this* bad. With everything going on might as well be a good time to drop Firefox finally and stop donations, they seem to be going to the CEO anyway.
Thank you for nuking my tabs for me, eazy migration.
Unfortunately, there's a bug with open tabs being cleared when "Browsing history" is selected in "Delete browsing data on quit". This bug is being resolved, but it made it to Beta.
Please also note that Beta isn't supposed to be very stable. It's intended more for testing than for daily usage. If you are not ready for such kind of incidents, you should use release instead.

Beta isn't an excuse to ship fundamentally broken software. How was this not caught in automated tests and QC?

But Mozilla in their infinite wisdom doesn't let me use about:config in the release version, just on Android.
You know what, that's enough reason to see that the engineering at Mozilla is at rock bottom, looks like all the good devs have left. Too busy adding more "ai slop" I guess.
Thanks for the link, appreciate the help and your responses!
You can access about:config in release by going to chrome://geckoview/content/config.xhtml
