Adding SPAM folder to THUNDERBIRD POP account
Greetings,
I have installed Thunderbird on Windows, configured a number of accouns in IMAP and POP format.
After using them for a while it becomes evident that POP accounts do not show the SPAM folder.
What can I do to fix that easily?
Thank you.

Chosen solution
Thunderbird uses the term "Junk" not spam for pop mail accounts. The relevant folders will be created on demand. If you don't have one, mark some mail as junk and you will.

Hello Matt,
Thank you for clarifying the difference between the terms "Junk" and "Spam".
So POP mail accounts use "Junk", I marked some mails, the folder does not show, yet.
What do I have to do to see it?
Thank you for the prompt response.

Greetings,
I found all the additional information required to solve the issue at the links below:
Junk Control info here:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/thunderbird-and-junk-spam-messages http://kb.mozillazine.org/Junk_Mail_Controls
The key point to identify how the mail server marks spam, in my case the keyword used was "SPAM" LOL.
Thank you for the help.
Regards,
Jean-Pierre
