Recently my Intel NUC died and I have switched to using n ASUS Strix laptop with a Synology NAS storage. Since that switch whenever I start up Thunderbird I receive this error message; " The folder ‘Inbox on meddingsbasil@gmail.com’ could not be compacted because writing to folder failed. Verify that you have enough disk space, and that you have write privileges to the file system, then try again." I am not sure if the error is in my ASUS Strix or in Thunderbird or elsewhere. If you can help, please note that I am a senile old geezer of 95 years and 7 months. I used to be OK with computers but I am now getting forgetful of how to do things. Can you help ?? Basil Meddings
