Hi! My BT Yahoo account was locked because someone had tried to access it 'without permission'

I changed my password and now its unlocked. Incoming & outgoing all OK on my phone and iPad. All the settings and new password OK on Thunderbird. I can get incoming mail, but I'm unable to send mail.

I have another Yahoo account on Thunderbird that's now suffering the same symptoms. Both work fine on the Desktop Yahoo app. I have a Gmail account that works OK on here.

I uninstalled/reinstalled one account but when reinstalling I get the message "Unable to log in at server. Probably wrong configuration username or password" but I'm sure it's all correct.

Any suggestions would be most welcome.

I believe Yahoo requires a unique password when being accessed from third-party email clients. See this URL for more info: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN15241.html
