I use thunderbird for many years. My email address there: boris@furlender.com, but now I am using a different computer in a different place and I do not have access to my old computer. I download thunderbird, but forget my password. My tools and options in my new installed thunderbird do not allow me to retrieve my password. Please help me!

In your situation, you would need to get your password from your email host provider. All Thunderbird does is store what you give it.
