Mac Pro latest edition of Mojave, but unable to install Thunderbird 60 without error message disk is damaged, eject. I changed system preferences to allow Thunderbird's Apple ID. How do I get the right version of Thunderbird to install?

I'm not sure what that means, and I somehow doubt that Thunderbird cares about an Apple ID (whatever that is).

How do I get the right version of Thunderbird to install?
