How can I force Thunderbird to print the entire email message when one or two characters are highlighted?
When I open a message there will be one or two characters somewhere down in the body of the message that are highlighted. Unless I see this and remove the highlighting, I cannot print the message. My printer only prints the highlighted character. This never used to happen. It is probably due to some upgrade. How can i turn off this feature so that the entire message is always printed?
My computer is running Windows 7 and I have an HP Laser Jet 1020 printer.

Click somewhere in a blank space and deselect the text. This is the way Thunderbird has always worked since I have been using it.
Very often I open a message in Mozilla, one character is highlighted somewhere toward the bottom of the message. If I don't see this highlighted character and print the message, only this character prints. This is really a nuisance. Is there any way to stop it? It has only started happening recently.
I think my answer covered it.
