Hi Jacob, are you having this in the browser on a Firefox OS phone, or on a different device (Windows, Mac, Linux, Android)? I want to make sure your post is in the right queue.

If this is on a desktop version of Firefox, some sites are very sensitive to your connection details and may require you to re-enter your password frequently if those details seem to be changing.

Could you check your Firefox connection setting? You can use:

  • "3-bar" menu button > Options / Preferences
  • type or paste about:preferences in the address bar and press Enter

In the Advanced category, click the Network mini-tab, then the Settings button.

Users who have "Auto-detect" selected here have reported this problem on Yahoo, AOL, HuffPost, and related sites. Try "Use system proxy settings" or "No proxy" and see whether either of those works better.

When I look at screenshots of FlashFox, it looks like it uses code from Firefox, but I actually don't know how similar it is under the covers. Let's see whether the desktop preference matters here...

(1) Open a new tab to about:config (type about:config in the Awesomebar and tap the go arrow or tap Enter).

You may want to bookmark this for easier future access.

(2) In the search box, type proxy and pause while Firefox filters the list

(3) Scroll down to network.proxy.type and tap the preference. Up and down controls should appear. If the value is not set to five, tap up to change the value to 5 ("Use system proxy settings", the default).

If the value already is 5 and it isn't working, try tapping down to change the value to 0 ("No Proxy") to see whether that works better.

Any difference?
