What happens to an email when you click "Send Later?" I can't find it anywhere.

I pulled an email from the "Sent" folder and hit "forward." I modified the email at length and then decided not to sent it yet. I right clicked and chose "Send later." The email disappeared totally. I can't find it anywhere -- not in any folder. Where can it be? How can I retrieve it?
