When I updated from FF16 to FF17 the passwords the "remember passwords" options started working differently; whenever I brought up a signon screen for a remembered site the login was not filled in. Reviewed the password file and found that all the login info was available and unaffected. Noticed that the "Remember passwords" option on the security tab had been unchecked. Rechecked it and saved; logins filled in normally for rest of the session. Terminated FF. pon restart of FF(17or18) discovered that the "remember passwords" option was again unchecked. Rechecked and again all worked well. I use multiple profiles ,all with remembered passwords, and switch between them. Before FF17 the "remember passwords" never unchecked and all worked perfectly. I need a fix to this.
