Why do I get a, "your computer must be restarted to complete a previous upgrade" message
I guess Im having the same issues as some of the others but I cant seem to remove. I just wanted to upgrade to FF7 and now I continue to get the message above. Ive taken all the steps suggested at: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Uninstalling_firefox The issue is it wont even allow me to Remove-I go Ctrl Panel, Add/Remove and click Remove and it gives me the same message, "Your computer must be restarted to complete a previous upgrade of FF"-Asks do I wish to reboot-Ive click yes 100 times and nothing changes.
Im at a loss-I've logged on as a user and Administrator and still get the same messages

Don't use the control panel add/remove programs - Try deleting the Firefox folder yourself. See these instructions: Troubleshoot and diagnose Firefox problems
You've got to be kidding me! That was way too easy!! It worked and I cant believe thats all I needed to do-Your the man! But then again you are from Texas Thanks Verdi!!!
My tabs dont work but other than that its all good!
What do you mean by "my tabs don't work?" Can you explain what's going on? Maybe we can fix that too.
Actually, I figured it out...apparently I had too many add-ons...? Wouldn't allow me to click on tab items or type in Yahoo! search...
Removed some unwanted add-ons and extensions and I'm all good.
Thanks for the help!
