I have been trying to remove Firefox. I have gone through the steps that usually uninstall but nothing happens. I want to get rid of Firefox. Please help me.

I open my control panel. Open the addor remove software icon and right clikc to uninstall. I then click on continue and nothing happens. My security system says there is a problem with Mozilla Firefox. I do not use it. I want to get rid of it.
