My email, in and out is not working.. I need my current Mozilla Thunderbird Primary Password. Then I could continue to use it OR select a new replacement for the current one. How do you get this message? You can reach me by phone # [redacted phone# from community support forum] This is a land line. I don't use Text.

The only password that Thunderbird uses for itself is the optional one you can set to protect your saved passwords. If you have lost or forgotten that password, you cannot recover it - you'd have to delete all your passwords and re-authenticate all your accounts. This article described the feature in more detail:

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/protect-your-thunderbird-passwords-primary-password

If you're talking about the password for the email account itself, and the account is authenticated by Normal Password, you may be able to discover it in Saved Passwords (see <Account Settings | Privacy & Security | Passwords | Saved Passwords>.) If the account is authenticated by OAuth2, and you have lost or forgotten the password, you will have to reset it on the email provider's web site.
