Thunderbird 153.2.0esr - Filters stop working

In Message Filters, click on 'Filter Log' Is the checkbox 'Enable filter log' selected ? If yes, it suggests no filter is working.

The 'blank string' is a known issue which is being looked at by developers. Some people have found either filter not working or emails get filtered to wrong folder.

Fix is to either remove that condition which has a blank string or enter data.

Yes, filters log is enabled (but empty) and filters are enabled.

All filters automatically run on new incoming mail in the Inbox. You can manually run a filter on any selected folder.

'Nome Catella' seems to mean 'Folder Name'

That option does not appear in a normal list,

• Subject
• From
• Body
• Date
• Prioity
• Status
• To
• Cc
• To or Cc
• From, to, Cc or Bcc
• Age in days
• Size
• Tag
• Attachment Status
• Spam Status
• Spam percent
• Spam score origin

All filters works on data in an email. The folder name is never in an email. That option should not be available. I would never expect that to work.

But I'm thinking how did you get that 'Folder Name' option ? Have you installed an add-on to do with filters ? Maybe that addon no longer works with the latest version of Thunderbird ?

Check your 'Addon-ons and Themes' > 'Extensions' to see what is installed and what is enabled.

Or did you click on 'Customise' and create 'Folder Name' ?
