We need more information. What exactly disappeared from your PC? If you have been using Thunderbird as an email client (program) what happens actually when you launch Thunderbird? Do you see one of the two windows shown in my attachments ? Otherwise a screen shot of your Thunderbird main window on startup would be welcome.
