Sync not working properly

I'm signed in on both the mobile and desktop app with the same account, sync is on for both of these, but the sync is not actually happening. None of my passwords or history is accessible in the mobile app. It also seems to not save any history at all because I keep having to type in whole web addresses instead of the app filling in the rest itself, even though I've visited these websites many times. There's no error in the settings or anything, it's just not working properly.
