I have two email accounts on Thunderbird. One, the gmail account still works perfectly, but the other, a cox.net, has started today to not move and messages to trash or junk as set by the settings. This problem is across all my devices, PC, ipad and Iphone.

Also, an error message pops up saying Operation did not succeed. SERVERBUG error

I think you just solved it. A server bug. I suggest you notify Cox, although they are probably aware. Since the problem occurs with phone and PC, the problem lies with the email provider.
