cannot find profile folder after download
I had to reinstall Thunderbird application. When I try to open by clicking on the icon, I get a notification that the program cannot find profile folder. I have deleted the program, reinstalled, turned off computer, turned on computer, cleared my cache and cookies and I still cannot get into Thunderbird application

Thunderbird opens the profiles.ini file, located at c:\users\<yourID>\appdata\roaming\thunderbird, to locate the profile folder. It is a simple text file that you can view with Notepad and there you will see the name it is looking for.
