Thunderbird crashed on startup - cause: no internet - should I file a bug report
After booting my laptop, I tried to start Thunderbird. But each time it crashed. I later discovered that I had no connection to the internet. Should TB crash, or inform the user that there was no access to the web? Rebooting the computer fixed the problem.

try troubleshoot mode - Hold down the Shift key while starting Thunderbird.

As I said in my post, the problem was solved. I was asking if I should file a bug report since TB crashed because there was no internet.
Thanks. I don't think it's worth pursuing
