Dear community, does anybody know a mean to collapse the individual folders of the bookmark list when editing bookmarks?

I sync my bookmarks from the desktop browser - therefore I've got a lot of nested bookmark folders.

When I try to stash away a new bookmark on my android device I get the full expanded list of my bookmark folders, which makes it difficult to find the correct base folder.

... or is it at least possible to define a "default folder" within the synced folder structure where my mobile bookmarks will go to sort them away on the desktop system ?
