I read that the 32 bit release of firefox will be ending soon. Is that correct. My machine only supports 32 bit.

To the best of my knowledge, the 32-bit release of Firefox should be 69.0.3, just like the 64-bit release. And, I may be totally out of the loop on this, but I haven't heard any recent plans to abandon the 32-bit versions of Firefox.

There are some companies that are dropping support for 32-bit versions of their own programs (Windows, NVIDIA, etc), but I haven't heard anything about Firefox doing that. However, in the future, it's possible.

As for you problem, if Firefox has been installed using your distro's package manager, their version may be outdated. You can try redownloading the latest version directly from the Mozilla website.

Hope this helps.

You use the Firefox version from the repositories of your Linux distribution. If you use this version then you need to contact their support to get get an answer to your question.

If you always want to be up to date then you can consider to switch to the Firefox version from the Mozilla server.

Any reasons for Mozilla dropping 32-bit Firefox for Windows will be different from the reasons for Mozilla dropping 32-bit Linux builds of Firefox.
