i've followed the migrate to a new computer instructions, but I don't get the contacts, old e-mails, local folders, etc., just e-mail for the last two days.
I'm trying to set up my wife's new computer. I've followed the copying all your Thunderbird email data. The only thing that gets imported is the current (last two days) of email. She has 4+ years in her InBox (yes, I know bad habits), but none of her contacts or local folders get restored to the new install. Both are release 52.5.2, so I even tried just copying the the entire Profiles folder to the new machine in the folder it's looking for Profile folder. Starting to make Outlook a viable alternative. There seems to be an I/o error on the Sent file, but that's the least of the problems.

this is usually down to the old profile being copies into the new one, instead of replacing it.
Please post a screen shot of the profile folder on the new device.
